The document title, post text, and follow-up comments each have their own limit.

Connect and test
Set up LinkedIn in three checks.
- 1
Configure the LinkedIn client ID, secret, and callback URL.
- 2
Confirm the app has the publishing products and permissions you need.
- 3
Connect the member or organization account and test each approved media type.
Known limits
What can still block a post.
- Publishing and comment permissions depend on LinkedIn products, scopes, and app review.
- Documents use the LinkedIn Documents API and require a title.
- Organization posting depends on the connected member role and granted access.
Account requirement: A LinkedIn developer app with the publishing products and scopes your account needs.
Verification: OAuth success alone does not prove every publishing permission; test the formats your team will schedule.
Use the current callback address, permissions, and media setup.
Social network developer pages change. The OpenPost guide lists the settings and checks you need now.
