Set up YouTube in three checks.

    Enable YouTube Data API v3 and configure the Google OAuth app and callback URI.

  2. 2

    Request the required profile, channel-read, and upload scopes.

  3. 3

    Choose a channel during connection and test a real video upload.

Known limits

What can still block a post.

  • Test the Google project with a live channel before you use it for real posts.
  • Unaudited Google projects can force uploads to private visibility.
  • Each account version accepts one video. OpenPost does not support text-only YouTube posts.

Account requirement: A Google Cloud OAuth app with YouTube Data API v3 and an eligible YouTube channel.

Verification: Confirm upload, processing completion, thumbnail, playlist, and final privacy on the production channel.

Use the current callback address, permissions, and media setup.
